TO小黑(1)
For a long time, I've felt sorry for for him.
一直以來，我對小黑很有愧疚感。
He was the best student in the 13 class. For a student who wasn't good at mathematics, such as me, he especially seemed to be more intelligent than I was, not to mention his winning the honor/prize? of mayor. Although I won the prize too, it was still hard to convince myself that I might be as smart as he was. Of course, he studied chemistry, phisics and biology, in which areas high level of counting/math ability is needed. Nevertheless, what I majored in required more of the ability of memorizing.
Being the top student of our own classes, we both wanted to take a chance in the, how should I say it? "Plan of Many Stars" (http://reg224.aca.ntu.edu.tw/star/default.asp)? No matter what it was called, we ran for the chance to be a college student in March, and, to catch our dream. I had been always longing to major in accounting, so it was easy for me to set up the goal: Accounting Department in NTU. However, he changed his many times.
I wasn't sure what at first he was intended to apply for, but later my teacher said to me that he wanted to enter the Math Department, and if he had really done it, I wouldn't have entered college in March, but in July. Not so insisted in entering college earlier than anybody else, I still cared about whether he would truly do that. In my mind, he could be much more than only a crazy expert in math. Quickly, I found all the teachers and the school authorities thought the same as I did.
